Each card is an art miniature, featuring mythical characters from mythology, politics and literature. Postures inspiring authority, provocation, charm, curiosity, innocence, perversity, envy, avarice, generosity, wisdom.... These themes common to mythology and humanism are rich in symbols so the deck of 32 cards lends itself easily to cartomancy.
